We are called the Department of Computing but we have been through many name changes; Computing and the Digital Environment; Creative Computing; The Department of Computer Science.  The name is unimportant, what holds us together is the relationship that was formed when you studied with us as an undergraduate or postgraduate student, a relationship we are keen to continue with you for as long as you wish.

As a department, we are proud to celebrate your success and we warmly invite you to become involved in our forthcoming events. For instance, in 2012 we will be moving to our new, purpose built, Faculty. We would like you to be there to share in the launch events and celebrations; either in person or virtually.

It is really easy to stay in touch:

• Consider giving a graduate talk to our current students (we can help with your travel costs and expenses)
• You are always welcome at our film show and showcase events (tickets have already been reserved for you)
• Why not give your personal tutor or supervisor a call, or send them an email, they would be delighted to hear from you
• Did you know the University has a formal Alumni Association?
